The affected students at Weston Elementary School in Ripon are all under the age of 10. They each have different types of cancer: brain, kidney, liver and lymphoma. (All of which are linked to to wireless radiation in studies) There is evidence that cell phone towers pose a real risk to humans. Even skeptics say the number of cases in this cluster is unusual. Sprint, which owns the tower, has shut it down despite insisting the radio frequency levels are 100 times below the federal limit. (Federal limits for radiation however are not set by health experts or doctors, and have not been updated since 1998). A private investigator for the patients' found the levels were higher than reported. The daily mail reports:
"Eight children have been diagnosed with cancer at the same elementary school - prompting parents' fears that a cell phone tower could be to blame. The affected students at Weston Elementary School in Ripon are all under the age of 10, each with different types of cancer: brain, kidney, liver and lymphoma."
SPRINT, which owns the tower, has shut it down despite insisting the radio frequency levels are 100 times below the federal limit. But the kids' mothers say their own private investigator found much higher levels, though still below the limit.
Monica Ferrulli, who's son Mason was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016, told CBS: 'It is classified as a possible carcinogen. 'That tells us that there is some evidence out there.
'We're not naive to the fact that there could be other components out there - other environmental influences… but the bottom line we feel in regards to this tower is that it doesn't belong there if there are any indications that it's unsafe.'
Ferrulli and Kelly Prime, whose son Kyle was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2016, have been fighting to take the tower down for two years.
After hiring lawyers earlier this year, they finally got assurance in March that it would be coming down.
"Conflict of interest"
The American cancer society say that there is "very little evidence" to support the idea that being near a cell tower increases cancer risk. However, they also go on to say that "very few human studies have focused specifically on that risk" Dr Sharon Goldberg states otherwise, stating that there is a "conflict of interest" between business, profits, and studies in this field. Dr Goldberg stresses the now known fact that we have clear scientific links and independent peer reviewed studies directly linking wireless radiation to cancer, and many many other illnesses that are currently exploding in modern society - ranging from mental health and memory issues, to diabetes, cancer, impaired immune system function, and much more.
"In academics, we call this human subjects testing" Over 3000 highly qualified Doctors and Scientists from all over the world have recently spoken out about the serious and known dangers of wireless radiation, they have called for updated testing and legislation to be put in place due to public safety concerns over the proposed roll out of 5G. Pointing to the Science and peer reviewed literature, these Doctors and Scientists are demanding a halt on the new technology roll out until further testing is done, as 5G will massively increase public exposure to untested and unsafe levels of wireless radiation. Their warning however, is being ignored.
