"Concerned parents and residents presented to the Mayor and councillors of Byron Shire Council this morning their concerns about 5G being foisted upon our community. Two speakers made the point (see video) that 5G is being rolled out around Australia without 'due diligence'. That should not happen here in Byron shire.
Our Governments and ARPANSA (the regulatory body which should safe-guard us) are ignoring the host of eminent medical scientists around the world in peer reviewed papers (versus NOT ONE peer reviewed scientific paper pro-5G study) that say 5G is NOT SAFE to introduce. To exercise the precautionary principle until it is shown beyond doubt to be safe.
It's to be hoped the Mayor and Council listen to our concerns. Our legal advice says the Mayor and Councillors could be at personal risk of criminal charges been laid against them if they do not exercise the precautionary principle and ban 5G in Byron Shire."
